Custom 5-Axis CNC Machined Aluminum Automation Equipment Base Block
This custom aluminum base block is manufactured via 5-axis CNC machining. It features complex multi-level stepped structure, deep precision bore, array of locating holes and tapped holes. The raw aluminum retains natural milled surface with uniform machining lines. Tight geometric tolerances of perpendicularity, flatness and position ensure stable assembly for high-speed automation equipment.
This monolithic aluminum base block is the core foundational fixture for high-speed automated handling equipment. Integrated multi-level protrusions, recesses and hole arrays eliminate assembly gaps caused by splicing multiple separate parts. The irregular 3D structure requires multi-angle machining in one clamping setup on 5-axis CNC machine. Our engineering team performed DFM analysis at the early quotation stage to optimize clamping strategy and prevent material deformation during heavy cutting. After machining, full deburring is carried out. All critical dimensions and geometric tolerances are inspected by CMM to guarantee consistency for batch production.
