Product Description
ER70S-3 is a common carbon steel gas shielded welding wire, mainly used for carbon dioxide (CO₂) or mixed gas shielded welding.
1. Chemical composition
Carbon (C): ≤0.06%
Manganese (Mn): 1.40-1.85%
Silicon (Si): 0.80-1.15%
Sulfur (S): ≤0.025%
Phosphorus (P): ≤0.025%
Other elements: may contain a small amount of deoxidizing elements such as aluminum (Al) and titanium (Ti) to improve welding performance.
2. Mechanical properties
Tensile strength: ≥500 MPa
Yield strength: ≥420 MPa
Elongation: ≥22%
Impact toughness: excellent, suitable for dynamic load environment.
