Product Description
Chemical composition
The main alloying element is magnesium (Mg), which is usually between 5.0% and 6.0%. The addition of magnesium can significantly improve the strength and toughness of the weld. It also contains a small amount of manganese (Mn), generally around 0.5% - 1.0%, which can improve the corrosion resistance and strength of the alloy. It also contains a small amount of chromium (Cr), titanium (Ti) and other elements, which are used to refine the grains and improve the comprehensive performance of the weld. The rest is aluminum (Al).
Mechanical properties
Tensile strength: The tensile strength of the welded joint is relatively high, generally up to 300MPa - 350MPa, which can meet the welding requirements of most medium-strength aluminum alloy structures.
Elongation: The elongation is usually around 15% - 20%, which makes the weld have good plasticity and impact resistance, and can withstand a certain degree of deformation without breaking.
