Through optimized chemical treatment processes and precise parameter control, the pretreatment system ensures a stable and consistent surface condition for subsequent electrophoretic deposition. The line is equipped with intelligent monitoring and automatic control functions to maintain key process parameters, including chemical concentration, bath temperature, liquid level, and treatment time.
Complete Pretreatment Process Flow
The system integrates multiple treatment stages to achieve high-quality surface preparation:
1. Pre-Degreasing
The initial cleaning stage removes loose oil, dust, and surface contaminants, preparing the workpieces for deeper chemical treatment.
2. Degreasing
A chemical cleaning process is applied to thoroughly remove grease, oil residues, and organic contaminants from the metal surface, improving the effectiveness of subsequent treatment steps.
3. Rinse Stage 1
The first rinsing stage removes residual chemicals from the previous cleaning process and reduces contamination carryover.
4. Rinse Stage 2
The secondary rinsing stage further improves surface cleanliness and ensures stable conditions before acid activation.
5. Acid Treatment
The acid treatment stage plays a critical role in surface activation by removing:
Oxide layers
Scale residues
Surface impurities
Micro-contaminants
This process improves substrate reactivity and creates an ideal surface condition for enhanced E-coating adhesion and coating durability.
6. Rinse Stage 3
The first post-acid rinse removes remaining acid residues and prevents chemical contamination of downstream processes.
