This state-of-the-art production line for MDF-modified powder coating seamlessly integrates advanced automated spraying technology with the flexibility of supplementary manual application. It is ideally suited for coating both medium-density fiberboard and metal substrates with a durable, high-quality finish.
Designed with efficiency and precision in mind, the system uses a power & free overhead conveyor to streamline the manufacturing process. While automation ensures consistent performance, the line maintains essential human oversight, as all components are carefully loaded and unloaded by skilled operators.
1. Manual Loading
Skilled operators begin the process by mounting the parts onto the conveyor system.
2. Preheating Stage
Components undergo gentle preheating at 60–80°C for approximately 3 minutes, preparing the surface for optimal powder application and ensuring uniform coating adhesion.
3. Automated Spraying & Manual Touch-Up
At this stage, high-precision automated spray guns apply an even powder coating to the product surface. Manual operators then perform supplementary touch-ups, ensuring every detail receives complete and consistent coverage.
4. Powder Curing
Coated parts enter a curing oven maintained at 135–140°C for about 10 minutes, allowing the powder to melt, flow, and fully cross-link to form a durable and long-lasting finish.
5. Natural Cooling
After curing, items cool naturally on the line. This step stabilizes the coating film and ensures its hardness and durability.
6. Manual Unloading
Finally, operators carefully remove the finished parts for quality inspection and packaging.
This comprehensive process ensures that every product exceeds industry standards for coating quality, adhesion, and durability.
