Product Overview

This is a premium fixed-removable combined dental restoration, composed of a fixed bridge with male ball attachments and a removable cast metal framework fitted with female cap inserts. It relies on concealed ball-cap interlocking for retention, avoiding visible clasps, delivering both stable chewing performance and easy cleaning for complex partially edentulous cases.

Product Advantages
  • Superior Aesthetics: No exposed metal clasps. The retention mechanism is concealed internally for a natural smile, ideal for anterior restorations.
  • Stable Retention & High Masticatory Efficiency: Mechanical locking of ball-cap attachments prevents wobbling or lifting during chewing, with well-distributed occlusal force and far better chewing performance than ordinary acrylic dentures.
  • Abutment Protection: Vertical insertion and removal generate minimal lateral torque on abutments, lowering the risk of loosening and damage. Gaps around the ball facilitate cleaning and reduce secondary caries.
  • Thin & Comfortable Framework: High-strength cast metal allows slim framework design, less bulk and fewer foreign-body sensations compared to full acrylic bases.
  • Adjustable Retention & Easy Repair: Retention force can be adjusted by replacing nylon caps of different retention grades. Worn caps can be replaced separately without remaking the whole prosthesis, controlling long-term maintenance cost.
  • Excellent Biocompatibility: Made of medical-grade cobalt-chromium alloy or pure titanium, corrosion-resistant with low oral allergy risk.

Application
  1. For patients with a small number of healthy remaining abutments and multiple missing teeth, who refuse full dentures and cannot receive implant treatment.
  2. Anterior edentulous cases with high aesthetic demand and rejection of visible clasps.
  3. Complex partially edentulous restorations requiring fixed-removable combined design to distribute occlusal load.
  4. Also compatible with implant abutment version: implant-supported fixed bridge paired with ball-cap metal framework overdenture.
Daily Cleaning
  1. Remove and rinse the prosthesis right after meals. Clean the framework, teeth and gaps of ball caps gently with a soft denture brush. Never use hard brushes or wire brushes which scratch metal and attachments.
  2. Clean the fixed bridge and ball heads on abutments with interdental brushes to remove food debris around the ball base, preventing plaque accumulation and periodontal issues.
  3. Take out the denture every night and soak it in professional denture cleanser. Avoid undiluted bleach which corrodes metal and accelerates aging of nylon caps. Rinse thoroughly with clean water before storage.
Periodic Inspection & Part Replacement
  1. Nylon retention caps are consumables. Check every 6–12 months. Replace caps when retention weakens, sticking or wear occurs; no need to remake the metal framework.
  2. Visit the dental clinic for review every 6 months, to check abutment periodontal health, framework deformation, ball wear and occlusal condition.
  3. If scratches or rough spots appear on polished metal surfaces, send back for repolishing to avoid plaque retention.
Prohibited Operations
  • Do not chew hard food (bones, hard nut shells) with the denture, to prevent framework distortion or attachment fracture.
  • Never store it dry when not in use; keep it moist to avoid cracking of gingival acrylic.
  • Do not grind or bend the metal framework by yourself. Deformation will cause abnormal force on abutments and poor seating.
