Q1: How long can a Valplast flexible partial denture last?
A1: With proper oral hygiene and regular clinical check-ups, the service life is generally 3–5 years. The nylon resin material may gradually age and soften under long-term oral environment. If there is obvious discoloration, deformation or poor retention, remaking is recommended.
Q2: Is Valplast flexible denture easy to repair after fracture?
A2: Valplast nylon resin is not suitable for simple glue repair. Most fractures require remaking. Minor adjustment and relining can be done in some cases. Please send us the scan file or model for evaluation first.
Q3: Does the flexible denture need special cleaning methods?
A3: Yes. Please use warm water and neutral denture cleaner. Avoid hot water, bleach or alcohol disinfectants, which will cause deformation and material aging. Do not use hard toothbrushes to scrub the surface.
Q4: Will flexible partial denture hurt the natural teeth and gums?
A4: Its flexible clasp is gentle to abutment teeth and gingiva, without sharp metal edges. It is friendly for patients with metal allergy. But regular follow-up is needed to check gingival health.
