C1S/C2S Art Paper, commonly referred to as coated art paper, is a high-quality paper with a coating applied to either one side (C1S) or both sides (C2S). Available in both glossy and matte finishes, and offered in sheets or rolls, it typically ranges in weight from 80gsm to 250gsm.
The coating enhances the paper's surface properties, improving brightness, smoothness, and printability, making it an ideal choice for various printing applications such as magazines, brochures, posters, packaging, and more.

Characteristics
Smooth, Glossy/Matte Surface – Provides excellent print clarity and vibrant colors.
High Whiteness & Brightness – Enhances color reproduction.
Good Opacity – Reduces show-through for double-sided printing.
Strong Ink Absorption – Ensures sharp details and minimal smudging.
Disadvantages
Not Very Durable – Prone to scratches and fingerprints (especially glossy versions).
Less Eco-Friendly – Coating makes it harder to recycle compared to uncoated paper.
Higher Cost – More expensive than uncoated papers due to the coating process.
Not Ideal for Writing – Pen/pencil marks may not adhere well.
