High Current Compact ET28 Common Mode Choke
The ET28 is a ferrite core common mode choke designed to suppress conducted common mode noise in AC input, DC input, and power conversion circuits. It uses multiple magnetically coupled windings to present high impedance to common mode interference while allowing normal differential current to pass with relatively low impedance.
Note: All values below are typical engineering inquiry references rather than guaranteed ratings. Final performance depends on magnetic material, number of windings, conductor size, turns, operating voltage, frequency spectrum, ambient temperature, and allowable temperature rise.

What is the main function of the ET28 common mode choke?
It suppresses common mode noise travelling in the same direction on multiple power lines while allowing normal differential current to pass with relatively low impedance.
Can the ET28 be used in a three phase circuit?
Yes. A three winding or four winding configuration can be developed for three phase systems with or without a neutral conductor. Voltage, current, insulation and wiring configuration must be provided.
