Product Description
The T50 is a toroidal isolation transformer with an annular magnetic core, insulated windings, flexible color-coded lead wires, and wrapped outer insulation system. Toroidal construction is selected where compact geometry, low magnetic stray field, low audible noise, and efficient use of core material are important.
Important Note: The T50 model designation alone does not prove a fixed 50 VA rating or any specific voltage combination. Exact specifications must be taken from an approved specification or clearly readable drawing.
Unlike high-frequency ferrite transformers, this product is intended for low-frequency AC operation at 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or dual-frequency conditions. It must not be connected to DC, as direct DC excitation can cause core saturation, excessive current, overheating, and product damage.
