Calcium Chloride Dihydrate (CaCl₂·2H₂O) is a white crystalline compound with a purity range of 74%–77%. It is widely used in deicing, dust suppression, and industrial processing. The product dissolves readily in water and releases heat during dissolution, which supports melting action on ice and snow surfaces.

Applications and Usage
For winter road maintenance, dihydrate calcium chloride is applied at 20–40 g/m² depending on ice thickness and surface temperature, effective in conditions above -20°C. In dust control, a 15%–20% solution is sprayed on unpaved roads and storage yards to bind fine particles. In water treatment, it is used as a flocculation aid and pH adjuster. Recommended storage is in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.
