The 135-5459 Electronic Unit Injector is engineered specifically for 3126, 3126B, and 3126E diesel engines, delivering OEM-equivalent performance across a wide range of industrial, transportation, marine, and power generation applications. Designed as a direct replacement for OE part numbers 0R-8479, 10R-0955, 20R-2053, 222-5966, and 235-2888, this EUI assembly integrates seamlessly with the engine control module to provide precise fuel metering and consistent injection timing under varying load conditions encountered in heavy duty trucks, school buses, generator sets, and marine propulsion systems.
This injector operates through a mechanical actuation combined with electronic control strategy, where low-pressure diesel fuel is delivered through the fuel gallery and the ECM sends a precisely timed signal to the injector solenoid. The plunger then compresses the fuel to high pressures, atomizing it through precision-machined nozzle holes for optimal mixing with compressed air and efficient combustion. The result is improved engine power output, better fuel economy, reduced exhaust emissions, and lower particulate generation compared to worn or non-genuine alternatives.
Each injector is 100% fuel flow and leakage tested to meet strict quality standards, ensuring high reliability and long service life right out of the box. Installation requires cleaning the injector bores, replacing all O-rings and seals, applying manufacturer-approved torque settings, and verifying fuel pressure along with engine diagnostic checks after installation. Routine maintenance—including the use of clean diesel fuel, timely replacement of clogged fuel filters, and periodic injector balance testing with Electronic Technician ( ET)—will help maintain consistent performance across all supported 3126 series applications worldwide.
