The injector is fully compatible with both mechanical and electronic injection systems found in 3412C and 3412E configurations, allowing seamless integration into industrial generator sets such as the 3412G, marine propulsion units, 3400 series excavators, and 3450 mining loaders. Operating within a pressure range of 2200–2500 bar, it supports the demanding combustion requirements of heavy-duty applications.
Manufactured from high-durability steel and alloy materials, this injector features precision machining that ensures consistent fuel flow and a stable multi-hole spray pattern with fine atomization. The design meets OEM standards for pressure rating, injection timing, and overall performance, providing resistance to wear, corrosion, and elevated operating temperatures typical of industrial, marine, and mining environments. Mounting bolt torque should be set to 35–40 Nm in accordance with OEM specifications, with the injector pre-lubricated using clean diesel prior to installation to protect internal components during initial startup.
Routine maintenance is recommended every 500 operating hours, including fuel filter inspection and replacement of the injector if spray pattern deterioration or leakage is observed. Common fault indicators such as engine misfire from a clogged nozzle, excessive smoke from a faulty spray pattern, hard starting linked to low fuel pressure, or reduced performance from a worn plunger and sleeve can be addressed by cleaning or replacing the 10R-1267 unit.
