The material's ceramic-filled PTFE composition provides good mechanical properties while resisting moisture, heat and chemicals. It also exhibits superb dimensional stability with a CTE well-matched to copper. These characteristics helped ensure long-term reliability of the base station antenna when subjected to environmental testing.
