BBT Brick Making Cutting System – Key Component for Clay Brick Production
The cutting systems from BBT are one of the critical parts in the production line of the clay brick making.
They are designed to cut the continuous columns first and then cut the columns into green bricks, the green bricks are ready for drying and firing. Most of the cuttting systems are custom building and BBT can do the design, manufacturing and supplying at the same time.
A. The Extrusion & Cutting Workflow
1. Extrusion: The continuous column is extruded from an extruder by a mould.
2. Cutting: Columns will be cutting into different models of green bricks.
B. Core Technology: Wire vs. Blade
Wire Cutting: high-tensile steel wires for efficient cutting and desilting.
C. Types of cutting systems
By Cutting Mechanism:
Vertical Cutter: Cuts designed in vertical to save space, using in high-capacity of brick factories.
Downward Press Cutter: Cuts by pressing down from top to bottom of the columns with high precision and adaptability.
Synchronous Cutter: Featured with a moving frame that matches the extruder's speed for distortion-free cuts.
Multi-Wire Cutter: multiple wires for high-capacity cutting.

Chamfering device: a chamfering knife is installed to bevel edges in the same operation.

Automation degree: Fully automatic or half automatic;
How many types of bricks will be cutting: clay solid bricks, clay hollow blocks, facing bricks and pavers;
