Product Description:

This is an HDR 8.4MP Sony IMX678 Sensor USB  Camera Module. It adopts the Sony IMX678 CMOS color image sensor, featuring 8.4MP ultra-high pixels and capable of outputting true 4K (3840×2160) resolution images with a smooth frame rate of up to 60fps. The core sensor has a size of 1/1.8 inch, and each pixel measures 2.0μm×2.0μm, ensuring excellent light-sensing performance. The module supports advanced STARVIS 2 technology and Clear HDR function; its optical configuration provides an 86° wide field of view and manual focusing capability with a focusing range from 1cm to infinity.​
In terms of video output, it is fully compatible with multiple formats including MJPG, YUY2, and H.264. The hardware adopts a compact 38mm×38mm design, equipped with a Type-C interface and supporting USB 3.0 high-speed transmission. It is perfectly compatible with the UVC protocol, supporting plug-and-play functionality for mainstream operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as development boards like Raspberry Pi. The product offers professional SDK support and is manufactured using SMT (ROHS) environmental protection process and AA (Active Alignment) process, ensuring outstanding stability and consistency.
