The SDVEDON UZ5160 is a heavy-duty vertical machining center designed for precision milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and contouring of medium to large workpieces in automotive, mold, aerospace, heavy machinery, and energy equipment manufacturing.

Applications

Safety & Operation Notices
  • Read the instruction manual thoroughly before installation and operation
  • Always wear safety goggles and appropriate protective clothing
  • Securely clamp the workpiece using appropriate fixtures; do not exceed 450kg table load
  • Ensure the spindle is properly warmed up before high-speed or heavy cutting operations
  • Disconnect power before cleaning, maintenance, or tool changes
  • Check the lubrication system regularly; verify oil levels daily
  • Use appropriate cutting fluid (coolant) for extended tool life and better surface finish
  • For heavy cuts, ensure proper tool clamping in the BT50 spindle and use balanced tooling
  • Verify that the Z-axis brake operates correctly to prevent axis dropping
  • Keep the work area clean and well lit
  • When using the 2-1 synchronous belt drive, inspect belt tension periodically
  • Maintain proper electrical supply (28KVA capacity recommended)
  • Allow the machine to complete its homing cycle before starting automatic operations
