The VMC1160 series vertical machining center is a high-rigidity CNC machine developed specifically to meet the needs of modern high-precision and high-efficiency machining. Featuring a classic C-type structural design optimized through finite element analysis, this machine ensures excellent stability and superior anti-vibration performance even during high-speed and heavy-load cutting. It is widely utilized in demanding manufacturing fields such as automotive components, mold making, aerospace, precision hardware, and medical devices.
In terms of core structure, the bed and column of the VMC1160 are made of high-grade HT300 premium cast iron. The internal rib layout is scientifically optimized, and the structure undergoes strict secondary artificial aging and annealing treatments to completely eliminate internal stress. This guarantees high precision stability over long-term use. The three-axis guide system is equipped with first-tier Taiwan-brand heavy-duty 45-type roller linear guideways, offering extremely high rigidity and smooth movement. Combined with C3 grade precision ground ball screws, it achieves high-rigidity transmission with rapid responsiveness, with rapid traverse speeds reaching up to 36m/min, significantly reducing non-cutting time.
The machine comes standard an advanced with CNC control system, which features a user-friendly interface, fast computation speeds, and excellent compatibility with various complex machining programs, making it highly suitable for processing complex curved surfaces and batch production. The spindle features a Taiwan OKADA BT40 belt-driven spindle with a speed range of 40-10000 r/min, coupled with an 11kW high-power spindle motor and 70Nm of spindle torque, ensuring robust cutting capabilities. Additionally, the 24T disc-type automatic tool magazine ensures fast and accurate tool changes, effectively guaranteeing production continuity. The core bearings are sourced from Japan NACHI or NSK, further ensuring long service life and highly reliable operation.
To meet the customization needs of different customers, the VMC1160 offers a highly diverse range of optional configurations. Customers can opt for a direct-drive spindle (12000 rpm), spindle gearbox, 4th axis (250mm with tailstock), and nitrogen balance cylinder. In terms of precision control, Renishaw TS27R automatic tool setters and OMP60 workpiece measurement systems are available as options for high-accuracy automatic tool measurement and compensation. Furthermore, optional accessories include cabinet air conditioners, spindle oil coolers, coolant through spindle (CTS), and oil-water separators, making it effortless to build a highly automated and efficient manufacturing cell with minimal or no manual intervention.

Please ensure the machine installation foundation meets the load-bearing requirements (machine net weight 6.3 tons) and the installation floor levelness is within standard limits to prevent affecting long-term machining accuracy.
Power connection must comply with national electrical safety standards. A reliable ground wire must be connected, and the phase sequence of the three-phase power must be checked to prevent motor reversal from causing damage to the equipment.
Operators must carefully check the machine's various components (such as the tool magazine, guideways, and lubrication system) before starting to ensure no abnormalities exist, and perform routine lubrication and maintenance as per the manual.
Please strictly follow safety operating procedures when loading and unloading the spindle and tools. Confirm that the spindle has completely stopped before changing tools. It is strictly prohibited to open the protective door or reach hands into the machining area while the machine is running.
When the equipment is idle for long periods or during maintenance, the main power must be disconnected, and proper moisture-proof and rust-proof measures must be taken. Do not disassemble or modify the core control components inside the electrical box without authorization.
