The HFC-4228PS is a heavy-duty fixed beam CNC gantry machining center body featured with hard rail and belt-driven ram structure, designed for multi-process machining including milling drilling boring reaming tapping on large metal workpieces. All core cast components adopt high-grade HT300 cast iron with optimized honeycomb rib layout and full stress relief annealing treatment to eliminate internal casting stress, effectively improving long-term structural stability and rigidity.

The bed is integral casting with dense internal ribs to bear heavy workpiece load reliably; the connected leg crossbeam uses honeycomb hollow casting design with excellent torsion and bending resistance, improving overall rigidity over split structure by more than 1/3. The ram is made of alloy-modified HT300 cast iron blended with copper manganese magnesium elements, uniform hardness within 7% deviation, internally arranged dense reinforcing ribs, convenient for later optional installation of multi-angle milling head.

Spindle unit equips Taiwan belt-type long nose BT50 spindle with maximum rotating speed 6000RPM, configured with European P4 grade SKF bearings in front-three & rear-two layout, balancing high rotation speed and heavy cutting rigidity perfectly. X/Y axes adopt roller linear guide paired with servo motor plus planetary reducer and C3 grade HIWIN/PMI ballscrew; Z axis uses rectangular solid hard rail to boost vertical cutting rigidity, all ball screws are sized X80×20 Y63×16 Z50×10 for smooth stable feed movement.

Two independent hydraulic balance cylinders offset ram and spindle self-weight to reduce Z-axis ballscrew load and extend screw service life. Spindle tool release adopts booster hydraulic cylinder while tool clamping relies on disc spring with automatic reset function. Full set of centralized automatic oil lubrication system regularly feeds lubricant to all guide rails and screw pairs; independent oil chiller realizes closed-loop spindle circulating cooling to control thermal deformation and retain long-term precision.

Standard configuration includes complete inner protection sheet metal, two nitrogen hydraulic balance cylinders, imported high-precision transmission components, leaving electrical cabinet and outer sheet metal for customers’ self-assembly and matching.

1. Install the machine body on reinforced concrete foundation with enough bearing capacity for heavy load machining.
2. Complete electrical system assembly and wiring by professional technicians according to relevant industrial standards.
3. Before commissioning, check hydraulic oil level, lubrication pipeline and spindle cooling circuit to avoid leakage.
4. Do not exceed the maximum 15-ton table load during workpiece clamping and processing to protect bed structure.
5. Regularly replace lubricating oil and spindle cooling oil following maintenance cycle to keep long-term machining precision.
6. Stop equipment immediately for inspection in case of abnormal vibration or oil leakage during test running.
7. Apply anti-rust oil on exposed guide surfaces during long-term shutdown and cover with dust-proof cloth.
