The DISC-LOCK nut system features two interlocking components with staggered cams. Its internal wedge design creates tension during vibration, ensuring perfect locking performance.
Excellent thermal/electrical conductivity but naturally soft. Requires careful machining to prevent gelatinous buildup during processing.
EDM machining recommended using deionized water to control heat from this viscous alloy.
High strength often requires wire cutting machines for complex features, with heat management precautions.
High tensile strength but requires slow cutting speeds due to softness.
