Hexagonal nuts are used in conjunction with screws and bolts to fasten machine parts. The most widely used type is the 1-type six nuts, where C nuts are for applications with lower surface roughness and precision requirements, while A and B nuts are for more polished surfaces with higher precision requirements.
Hexagonal nuts are classified by nominal thickness into Type I, Type II, and thin types. Type I hexagonal nuts are the most common, with A and B grade nuts suitable for high-precision applications and C grade for rougher surfaces. Type II hexagonal nuts are thicker and often used in applications requiring frequent assembly and disassembly.
The hexagonal design provides excellent torque transmission capacity and can withstand significant axial and radial loads.
304 stainless steel (18/8 stainless steel) contains over 18% chromium and 8% nickel, with high temperature resistance up to 800°C. It offers good processing performance and high toughness, making it ideal for industrial, furniture, and food/medical applications. Food-grade 304 has stricter content requirements.
