The principle of blackening treatment
The basic principle of blackening treatment is to form an oxide film on the metal surface through chemical reactions, mainly composed of iron (III) oxide (Fe3O4). This film can isolate air, thereby preventing the metal from oxidizing and rusting. Blackening treatment is usually carried out at low temperatures.
