The GZ4250 Fully Automatic Horizontal Band Saw Machine is a high-capacity CNC horizontal band saw designed for efficient, stable, and accurate cutting of large metal workpieces. With a maximum cutting capacity of Ø500 mm for round materials and 500 mm for plate materials, it is suitable for demanding metal cutting and batch production applications.
The machine integrates PLC control, touchscreen operation, hydraulic clamping, hydraulic feeding, and grating-scale positioning to provide a high level of cutting automation and positioning accuracy. The hydraulic system allows stepless adjustment of feed speed, making it possible to optimize the cutting process according to different materials and working conditions.
The GZ4250 supports both automatic and manual cutting modes. Operators can set the required cutting length and quantity through the touchscreen, and the machine automatically completes feeding, clamping, cutting, counting, and stopping after the preset quantity is finished. This reduces manual intervention and improves production efficiency for continuous and batch cutting.
With a rigid welded structure, precision band saw wheels, adjustable carbide guide blocks, dual-bearing blade guidance, and front-and-rear workpiece clamping, the GZ4250 is engineered for stable cutting performance and long-term operation. The specified dimensional accuracy after cutting can reach ±0.2 mm, while the cut surface perpendicularity meets national standards.
The GZ4250 provides a maximum cutting capacity of Ø500 mm for round materials and 500 mm for plate materials, making it suitable for large-diameter steel bars, shafts, blocks, plates, and other metal workpieces.
The PLC-based control system with touchscreen interface allows operators to set cutting length and quantity digitally. Once the machine starts the automatic cycle, it can perform feeding, clamping, cutting, counting, and automatic stopping with minimal operator intervention.
The rear hydraulic feeding system works together with a grating scale for accurate material positioning. A single feeding stroke can be set from 2 to 600 mm, while longer lengths can be achieved through multiple feeding cycles.
Hydraulic clamping provides stable workpiece fixation during cutting. The machine uses front and rear clamping arrangements so that at least one vise remains clamped during operation, helping prevent workpiece movement and improving cutting stability.
The GZ4250 is equipped with a bundle cutting device. Multiple workpieces can be arranged within the specified width and height range for simultaneous cutting, making the machine particularly suitable for batch production and repetitive cutting operations.
The band saw blade offers three selectable speeds of 30, 50, and 70 m/min, allowing operators to select an appropriate cutting speed for different materials and cutting requirements.
The blade guide system uses adjustable guide arms, guide wheels, wear-resistant guide blocks, and a dual-bearing structure on the back of the blade. The design helps maintain proper blade alignment, reduce vibration, improve cutting stability, and reduce blade damage during operation.
The base and saw frame are constructed using welded steel structures and undergo vibration aging treatment to reduce welding deformation and redistribute internal stresses. This provides improved structural rigidity and long-term dimensional stability.
A passive wire-wheel chip brush removes chips remaining on the band saw blade, while the cooling system helps clean the blade teeth and prevent chip accumulation. This contributes to improved cutting efficiency and extended blade service life.
