Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride PCBN tool: (for finishing) (Note: no water can be added during use)
CBN superhard cutting tools are specialized in finishing, mainly cutting all kinds of hardened steel, alloy steel, tool steel, die steel, manganese steel-spring steel, bearing steel, chilled cast iron, high chromium cast iron, gray cast iron, powder metallurgy, Ni-based And various difficult-to-machine high-hardness steels with CO-based superalloy Rockwell hardness between (HRC45-80°).
1. Convert hexagonal boron nitride (HBN) into cubic boron nitride (CBN) under high temperature and high pressure.
2. The cubic boron nitride micro-nano crystal powder and the binder are synthesized into polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) under high temperature and high pressure.
PCBN has strong chemical inertness and will not chemically react with ferrous metals at high temperatures
1. For machining cast iron
2. For processing high hardness, high wear-resistant alloy cast iron and casting high-speed steel
3. For machining hardened steel
4. For machining difficult-to-machine materials, such as: superalloy, tungsten carbide, etc.
Processing material: It has extremely stable chemical properties for ferrous metals, hardened steel (45-60HRC), bearing steel (60-62HRC) high-speed steel (>62HRC) tool steel (57-60HRC), chilled cast iron and Fine turning can realize the replacement of grinding by turning, which greatly improves the processing efficiency.
Processing life: fracture toughness, high hardness and toughness, good wear resistance and strong collapse resistance.

Joeben provide different type of CBN insert to order, single tip, multi tip, full faced and solid inserts, coating is available per requriement.
