This precision slider block is fully CNC machined from premium POM (polyoxymethylene / acetal & Delrin®-grade), a crystalline engineering thermoplastic prized for its excellent balance of stiffness, toughness and low-friction performance. Every block is milled, drilled and finished on high-speed CNC centres, then inspected against a controlled tolerance band to guarantee repeatable, wobble-free sliding.
Starting from the machined material itself, the design takes full advantage of POM's natural lubricity, dimensional stability and fatigue resistance — making the block ideal for linear guides, guide rails, feed mechanisms and wear pads where metal parts would need frequent greasing or would corrode.
We machine the slider block from virgin POM (acetal homopolymer/copolymer), available in natural, black and custom colours. The typical key properties below define why POM is the material of choice for precision sliding components:
