This precision stepped shaft is a multi-diameter, CNC-turned component designed to transmit torque, locate bearings, and align rotating assemblies with high concentricity. Each diameter step, shoulder, keyway and thread is machined to tight tolerance so the shaft fits reliably into gearboxes, motors, pumps and automation equipment.
The core of this product is its material and processing quality. We start from certified bar stock — stainless steel, alloy steel, brass or engineering plastic — and hold diameter tolerances down to ±0.005 mm, concentricity within 0.010 mm, and a surface finish as fine as Ra 0.4 µm on bearing journals. Every shaft is inspected before shipment.

Each shoulder is turned square within 0.01 mm perpendicularity, giving bearings and gears a flat, positive seating face under load.
Bearing seats are cylindrical-ground to h6/g6 fits with Ra 0.4 µm, ensuring smooth rotation, minimal vibration and long bearing life.
CNC-milled keyways and splines with tight width tolerance transmit torque without backlash or key deformation.
Rolled or cut metric / UNC threads with protective chamfers and center holes for easy, damage-free assembly.
Optional hardening, carburizing or nitriding delivers a hard, wear-resistant surface over a tough, shock-absorbing core.
Stainless grades or zinc / nickel plating resist corrosion and wear, with polishing available for a premium finish.
