This CNC angle steel drilling production line is distinguished by a high level of automation, integrated with an automatic loading system—comprising a transverse feeding channel and a rotary loading rack—an automatic unloading unit, and an automatic material feeding module. All angle steel drilling operations as well as steel stamping and marking processes can be accomplished in a single pass through the production line, with zero manual intervention needed during the machining phase. This configuration effectively reduces the labor intensity of the operating personnel.
The marking unit of the angle steel punching and marking production line adopts a closed-frame structure, which ensures exceptional structural rigidity and consistent operational stability. The marking assembly is outfitted with a bed support secured to the machine base, a movable bed, and a hydraulically driven press-head character box. In accordance with the instructions transmitted by the computer control system, marking operations are executed at the positions designated in the engineering drawings. To extend the equipment’s processing scope, a manual adjustment mechanism has been additionally incorporated. Through the utilization of this mechanism, the vertical position of the movable body—namely, the position of the character head—can be adjusted, thereby enabling adaptation to the marking positions of angle steel products across a full range of specifications.
The drilling process of the CNC transmission tower punching equipment achieves exceptional positional accuracy. The feeding mechanism of this production line is actuated by a servo motor, with power transmission realized through a rack-and-pinion drive system. It is further equipped with a rack-and-pinion detection unit and a position-sensing encoder for positional accuracy feedback, which jointly form a fully closed-loop control architecture. Meanwhile, the traverse movement of the drilling power head along the two flange directions of the angle steel is powered by a servo motor and transmitted via a ball screw mechanism. This configuration guarantees outstanding positional precision of the holes machined on angle steel workpieces.
The host computer features a Chinese-language interface, ensuring intuitive operability for general operators. It is furnished with the functionality to display workpiece schematics and the coordinate dimensions of hole positions, thereby streamlining inspection workflows. Furthermore, it supports the import of workpiece processing programs generated by professional programming software. The adoption of host computer-based management significantly improves the efficiency of processing program storage and retrieval.
These test specimens encompass a full spectrum of standard specifications and hole configurations pertaining to angle steel utilized in transmission line tower fabrication. They enable prospective clients or inspectors to conduct visual validation of the equipment’s operational performance, thereby furnishing tangible and intuitive references for assessing whether the equipment satisfies the practical production requirements of transmission line tower manufacturing.
In ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission line projects—where transmission towers are mandated to withstand severe weather conditions and heavy-duty loads—this equipment serves a pivotal function in machining angle steel components for the towers’ primary load-bearing frameworks. It efficiently executes drilling and stamping operations on angle steel applied to tower bodies, cross-arms, and other critical structural components, ensuring superior dimensional precision and dependable connection integrity.
