Product Usage:

It is primarily designed for drilling and stamping operations on large-size, high-strength angle steel used in transmission line towers. All required holes on the angle steel can be processed on this production line, featuring superior hole quality, high positional accuracy, as well as exceptional production efficiency and automation capabilities.

Product Features:

The typing unit employs a closed-frame structure, characterized by high strength and stable performance. The printing unit comprises a bed support fixed to the machine base, a movable bed, and a hydraulic-driven press head character box. Printing is performed at the positions specified in the drawings in accordance with computer instructions. To extend the machine's processing range, a manual adjustment mechanism has been added, which allows for modifying the downward position of the movable bed (i.e., the position of the character head) to adapt to the typing positions of angle steel with different specifications.

The hole-making process achieves high positional accuracy. The feeding device of this production line is driven by a servo motor via a gear-rack transmission system, equipped with a detection mechanism for the rack and gear as well as a detection encoder for positional accuracy feedback, forming a full closed-loop control system. The movement of the drilling power head along the direction of the two flanks of the angle steel is driven by a servo motor through a ball screw transmission, ensuring high precision in the positioning of holes on angle steel workpieces.

Superior drilling efficiency and hole-making quality are hallmarks of this system. The drilling unit is outfitted with six sets of CNC drilling heads, with three allocated to each wing of the angle steel. Holes of identical diameter and end distance on both wings can be drilled simultaneously by corresponding drilling heads on either side. The drilling spindle utilizes a Taiwanese BT40 precision spindle (with internal cooling), while the drilling head employs a cemented carbide drill bit, achieving a cutting speed of up to 200m/min—significantly higher than the 25-35m/min typical of conventional high-speed steel twist drills.

The CNC drilling power head is fed by a servo motor, with its rapid advance, working feed, and rapid retraction controlled and automated by the CNC system. The retraction position of the drill can be preset via the host computer, minimizing idle strokes and further enhancing production efficiency. The manufactured holes boast a diameter tolerance of less than 0.1mm and a surface finish (Ra) of less than 6.3μm, ensuring exceptional hole processing quality.
