Products Introduction

Color coated sheet coil is in the hot rolled substrate, galvanized substrate, aluminium zinc plated substrate, cold rolled substrate, tinned substrate, stainless steel substrate and other substrates, after surface pretreatment (degreasing and chemical treatment), with the roller coating method, coated with one or more layers of liquid paint, baked and cooled the resulting sheet that is the coated steel, made into colour coated coils, mainly in the construction of roofs, walls, steel plants, home appliances with the board, It is mainly used in building roofs, walls, steel structure plants, home appliances, purification and clean plants and other fields. Commonly used specifications are 0.2--1.0, commonly used in the domestic width of 1000 and 1200, the main export plate 940, 1200, 1219, 1250 and so on.

Matt Textured Colour Coated Steel Sheet begins with a hot-dip galvanized alloy steel plate as its substrate. Using a continuous roller coating production method, special additives are incorporated into the coil topcoat. After baking, this creates a distinctive, fishing net-like pattern effect. These sheets can be professionally customized to meet various customer specifications, including different sizes, depths, and shades of texture patterns, offering a wide range of aesthetic and functional options.

Usage of Colour Coated Coils:

Colour coated coils are characterized by their lightweight nature, aesthetic appeal, and excellent anti-corrosion properties. Selection of Coatings:

The coatings applied to colour coated coils are chosen based on the specific environmental conditions and intended use. Different resin types provide varying levels of durability and performance:

• Polyester (PE) and Silicone Modified Polyester (SMP): Suitable for general-purpose applications where moderate weather resistance and aesthetic appeal are required.
• Polyvinyl Chloride Plastisol (PVC): Offers enhanced flexibility and impact resistance, commonly used in applications requiring resilience to harsh weather conditions.
• Polyvinylidene Chloride (PVDC): Provides excellent barrier properties against moisture and chemicals, suitable for applications demanding superior protection.

Users can select the appropriate coating based on their specific application needs, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of colour coated coils in diverse environments and industries.

Coating Structures:

Type of coating structure

2/1: Coat upper surface twice, lower surface once, bake twice.

2/1M: Coat upper and lower surfaces twice, bake once.

2/2: Top and bottom surfaces are coated twice each and baked twice.

Usage of different coating structures:

2/1: The corrosion resistance and scratch resistance of single layer back coating is poor, but it has good adhesion, mainly used for sandwich panels.

It is mainly used for sandwich panels;

2/1M: backcoat with good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and moulding properties, good adhesion, suitable for single-layer compression moulding panels.

2/1M: good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and moulding properties, good adhesion, suitable for single-layer pressboards and sandwich panels.

2/2: double-layer backing paint with good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processability, mostly used for single-layer pressboards, but with good adhesion.

Most of them are used for single-layer moulding board, but its adhesion is not good, and it is not suitable for sandwich board.

Colour Coated Coil Coating Types: 

1. Polyester

Good adhesion, rich colours, wide range in formability and outdoor durability, medium chemical resistance, low cost.

2. Silicon Modified Polyester

Silicone Modified Polyester (SMP), good film hardness, abrasion and heat resistance, as well as good exterior durability and resistance to chalking, gloss retention, general flexibility, medium cost.

3. High Durability Polyester

(HDP), excellent colour retention and UV resistance, excellent exterior durability and chalking resistance, good film adhesion, rich colour, excellent cost performance.

4. Polyvinylidene fluoride

(PVDF), excellent colour retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, excellent solvent resistance, good formability, dirt resistance, limited colours, high cost.
