Pre-oxidized PAN (Polyacrylonitrile) fiber is produced through a high-temperature thermal stabilization process of PAN precursor fiber. With excellent flame retardancy and a limiting oxygen index (LOI) above 40%, it demonstrates outstanding thermal stability and fire resistance. During combustion, the fiber does not melt, soften, shrink, or produce dripping, making it a reliable quasi-non-combustible material for high-temperature and fire protection applications.
Developed and manufactured by Wingsec, the pre-oxidized PAN fiber insulation felt is produced using high-quality pre-oxidized PAN fibers through an advanced needle-punching process. The material combines excellent flexibility, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical stability, and radiation resistance.
Depending on different application requirements, Wingsec can provide pre-oxidized PAN felts with enhanced hydrophobic properties, offering excellent moisture resistance while maintaining superior thermal insulation performance.
