With the widespread adoption of new energy vehicles, safety has become the core concern of every user. When it comes to the most extreme emergency scenario — battery thermal runaway — every second counts for safe rescue and evacuation.
To verify extreme fire resistance performance, we conducted a real vehicle combustion test under fully controlled extreme conditions. The tested product is the SUNTEX professional automotive fire blanket, custom-developed exclusively for new energy vehicles. Crafted with aerospace-grade composite fireproof materials, it withstands continuous high temperatures exceeding 1000°C, delivering ultra-reliable thermal insulation and fire suppression capabilities.
In the test, we simulated complete battery pack thermal runaway. 60 seconds after the vehicle caught fire, we covered the burning vehicle entirely with the SUNTEX fire blanket.
Battery thermal runaway was fully triggered in the test chamber, with temperatures spiking sharply and flames spreading rapidly across the battery pack — presenting a critical and high-risk emergency state.
Once the SUNTEX fire blanket was deployed and fully covered the vehicle, immediate and obvious fire control effects were achieved. The flames were completely isolated and contained within the blanket, effectively suppressing the spread of fire.
This powerful performance brings three core safety guarantees. It buys precious escape time for vehicle occupants to evacuate safely. It prevents fire spread to surrounding vehicles, buildings and flammable facilities to avoid secondary disasters. It also creates sufficient time and safe operating conditions for professional fire rescue teams to arrive and implement precise firefighting operations.
