Description:
Foundry Coke is the main fuel of melting iron in the oven. have the characteristics of big block, low re-activity, small porocity, enough anti-crush strength, low ash and low sulfur.
Foundry Coke Application :
Foundry coke is used for casting, cast iron and cast steel. Castings will have a requirement for carbon. Then, as the name suggests, the carburizing agent is to increase the carbon content in the molten iron. For example, in the smelting, the common furnace materials are raw iron, scrap and furnace, and the carbon content of the raw iron is high, but the purchase price is higher than that of the scrap steel. Therefore, increasing the amount of scrap steel and reducing the dosage of pig iron and adding carburizing agent can play a certain role in reducing the cost of casting.
