Product Name: Foundry Coke

Description:

Chinese foundry cokes are mostly produced from Beehive Ovens. Foundry cokes are mainly used in cupola furnaces due it’s big size and strong better holding up functions in the Cupola furnaces.

Foundry Coke Application :
Foundry coke is used for casting, cast iron and cast steel. Castings will have a requirement for carbon. Then, as the name suggests, the carburizing agent is to increase the carbon content in the molten iron. For example, in the smelting, the common furnace materials are raw iron, scrap and furnace, and the carbon content of the raw iron is high, but the purchase price is higher than that of the scrap steel. Therefore, increasing the amount of scrap steel and reducing the dosage of pig iron and adding carburizing agent can play a certain role in reducing the cost of casting.

Foundry Coke is a kind of main raw materials used for steel makers.

The coke handled by our couporation is made from superior coking coal of Henan province. Provided with the dvantages of low ash, low sulphur and high carbon.Our coke is well sold in European,American,Japanese and South-east Asian markets.

This is a special coke that is used in furnaces to produce cast and ductile iron products. It is a source of heat and also helps maintain the required carbon content of the metal product. Foundry coke production requires lower temperatures and longer times than blast furnace coke.

Foundry Coke/hard coke is special and cupola molten iron coke. Foundry Coke is the main fuel cupola molten iron. Its role is to make molten iron melting charge and overheating, supporting column to maintain its good air permeability. Therefore, foundry coke with large block size, low reactivity, porosity, has small impact crushing strength, ash and sulfur content is low enough. It is widely used in iron and non-ferrous metal smelting, casting, chemical industry, calcium carbide and ferroalloy, etc. The coke in a cupola functions not only as a fuel but also, and more important, as a medium of heat transfer.
