8 Strand Braided Polypropylene Mooring Rope. Polypropylene is the strongest rope (weight to strength) of all synthetics. The most popular premium general-purpose synthetic fibre rope. Economical and versatile. This synthetic fibre rope is easier to handle than rope made from natural fibres. Low to moderate elongation. Due to its relatively low melting point (330°F), it is not recommended on capstans orbits where heat from friction could cause melting or fishing.
