Product Description

Flake ice machine:
The evaporation tank is made of stainless steel or carbon steel chromium upon the user's requirement. The evaporator with flange connection structure, evaporation chamber with ribs spiral groove around the welded structure to enhance inner strength, and the all thickness through strict testing to uniform wall thickness, ensure the sustainable use of the evaporator is not deformed.
The PLC controlling system can automatically control the whole progress of procuring ice with alarm of lacking water, full ice, high/low pressure, and motor reverse rotation protection so as to guarantee the machine run stably with less faults.
The scratch-style ice dropping system inside machine ensures constant working with minimum power consumption.
The latest technology allows for highly efficient heating transfer and energy saving.

Flake ice Features: 
The thin ice can be directly used for stirring and mixing refrigerated materials;
No acute edges and corners so it will not damage the surface of the cooled object;
Large contact area and fast cooling speed;
Easy to crush and mold.

1.Working principle:

Flake ice machine working principle is a circulating heat exchange process of the refrigerant gas in a closed loop.

Outside water source flows into the water tank, and then the water will be pumped into the water distribution plate of the flake ice evaporator / drum by the circulating water pump.

Water distribution plate will spray the water onto the inner wall of the flake ice evaporator/drum uniformly. Ice layer will be formed instantly on the wall under the action of the heat exchange between the water and refrigerant gas.

Driven by the reducer, the ice skate will break the ice layer slowly, the flake ice will drop into the ice storage equipment automatically.

The water did not turn into ice will drop into the water channel at the bottom of the flake ice evaporator/drum, and flow back to the water tank for next cycle.

2.Advantages:

Flake ice shape is flat and thin, it has the largest contact area among all types of ice which can lower down the temperature of the substance very fast.

Flake ice is dry and crisp, no sharp edge. It will not hurt the surface of the substance.

Flake ice temperature is -8℃ ~ -5℃, thickness is 1.5mm~2.8mm.

Flake ice making speed is very fast, generally the flake ice will come out within 3 minutes after you start the machine.

3.Application:

Fishing processing, preservation and transportation.

Meat processing, preservation and transportation.

Food processing, preservation and transportation.

Fruit and vegetable preservation and transportation.

Chemistry cooling, concrete cooling and air conditioning cooling.

4.Standard daily capacity is from 200kgs to 60000kgs. Customization is available.

5.Seawater flake ice machine is usually installed and working on fishing boat, it is made of 316L stainless steel material with strong seawater corrosion resistance. Special design of the machine can ensure it works properly under the fishing boat shaking. The seawater from the sea can be used for making flake ice directly. Standard daily capacity is from 1000kgs to 20000kgs.  Customization is available.
