PE/PP anti-aging masterbatch is a high-performance additive specially designed for polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) materials. It uses high-quality polyethylene resin as the carrier, adds appropriate amount of anti-aging additives such as antioxidants, heat stabilizers, light stabilizers and ultraviolet absorbers, and is made through twin-screw extrusion. This masterbatch can effectively prevent yellowing and oxidation of materials during processing and use, and provide long-term stability and anti-aging effect.
About 5% of sunlight has ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 290-400nm, which is the main cause of light aging damage to plastic and other polymer materials. Because ultraviolet light in this wavelength range is the most sensitive wavelength that most plastics absorb, its small amount of ultraviolet radiation has a huge damaging effect on the polymer. It can initiate autooxidation reactions, lead to molecular chain breakage and cross-linking, cause aging and degradation, and significantly reduce the physical properties of the polymer. Our company adds additives that can inhibit photodegradation in the formulation system of special anti-aging masterbatch for mulch films. Adding this masterbatch in proportion to the blown film can inhibit and weaken photodegradation, improve its light resistance, and prevent damage to mulch films due to high temperature., thereby meeting the requirement of extending service life.
