The equipment which mixes the ingredients of concrete together is called a concrete mixer. A mixer could be 1/2 bag mixer or a 1 bag mixer. It could be a static mixer or a transit mixer.
A mixer essentially has a mixing drum in which the mixing takes place. There could be a hopper attached to the drum . The ingredients are manually filled up in the hopper which adds ingredients into the drum.
Drum is fitted with blades on the inner surface.
Some mixers have drums connected to the output of the weigh batcher.
Most common specification of mixer st site is 10/7. This means 10 Cft of raw materials can be mixed in this mixer to receive a dense concrete mix of 7 cft.

This machine is a bipyramid reversal discharging self-loading concrete mixer, the mixing drum's forward rotation is mixing, reverse rotation is discharging. Because outfitting with a diesel-powered engine, it is more applicable to the remote areas and the wild which have no electric power supply.

How to maintain the mixer?
The maintenance of concrete mixer is very important for concrete mixer owner, because it is directly relevant to the service life and efficiency of a concrete mixer. We will give some advice on maintenance of concrete mixer.
1. Lubricate the bearing parts regularly according to its service condition. Adopt calcium soap grease to lubricate it. Adopt engine oil to lubricate reducer.
2. Check the sealing of concrete mixer regularly. Inspect the quality of sealer in time when leakage is found.
3. Examine securing device frequently. Tighten up it the moment it becomes less crowded.
4. Inspect the control system constantly to guarantee its good contact and dry it frequently.
5. After long life-time service, blades and drum may be worn out. Check and adjust clearance between blades and drum.
6. Never put your hands or other clubs into the drum to avoid danger.
7. Don't turn on/off concrete mixer constantly when using it. The interval time must above 5 seconds.
