PEODUCT DESCRIPTION
I. The Function of Rubber Hoses
The rubber hose is the last section of pipe through which the concrete flows out and is directly controlled by the operator to determine the pouring position.
1. Provide flexibility and controllability:
This is the most crucial function. Rigid metal pipes cannot be fine-tuned, while rubber hoses are very flexible, allowing the operator to move the pipe opening within a range of several meters to precisely pour concrete into every corner of the formwork, avoiding quality issues such as honeycombing and pitting.
2. Reduce boom shock and vibration:
During the pumping process, concrete moves in a pulsating manner within the pipes, generating significant shock and vibration. As an elastic component, rubber hoses can absorb and buffer these energies, preventing the shock from directly transferring to the rigid boom and protecting the boom structure and hydraulic system.
3. Protect the reinforcement structure and formwork:
In narrow working spaces, rigid metal pipes are prone to colliding with the already tied reinforcement or formwork. Soft rubber hoses can effectively prevent such collisions, safeguarding the reinforcement spacing and formwork from damage.
4. Facilitate connection and shortening:
Depending on different pouring conditions, sometimes it is necessary to extend the hose, and sometimes a shorter and more flexible one is needed. Rubber hoses can be easily lengthened or shortened through standard clamps, offering excellent adaptability.
5. Wear resistance and corrosion resistance:
High-quality pump truck hoses have wear-resistant materials (such as UPE ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene inner tubes) inside and rubber layers outside that are oil-resistant, weather-resistant, and anti-aging, capable of withstanding long-term friction from concrete and chemical corrosion.
