The Metral Vertical Header and Right Angle Receptacle family offers a wide range of backplane connector solutions designed in accordance with IEC 61076-4-104 and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. These connectors provide high contact density with 250 contacts per 100mm connector length and a 2mm contact pitch, available in 4 and 5 row versions. Metral vertical headers can be utilized with vertical receptacles for mezzanine applications. Meeting Futurebus+ standards, they are suitable for data, industrial and instrumentation, medical, and telecom markets. Key benefits include modularity, scalability, flexible modular length, high signal density, and varying pin lengths for sequential connection and protection. The dual beam contact design in receptacles ensures electrical reliability and vibration resistance, while locating pegs offer accurate PCB positioning.
