The Amphenol SurLok Plus compression lug is a field-installable, highly reliable alternative to common compression lugs. It offers environmentally sealed protection and is available in smaller sizes compared to the original SurLok. Featuring a quick lock and press-to-release design, it incorporates R4 RADSOK Technology for a compact, quick-mating, and robust solution. The RADSOK high amperage contact technology utilizes a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to achieve low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. The R4 version is a result of extensive research and development in laser welding copper-based alloys. It supports industry-standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options, eliminating the need for special torque tools.
