The Amphenol H4 UTX PV Cable Connector is a robust DC connector designed for the global photovoltaic market. It boasts triple certification to UL 6703 1000V, IEC 50521 1500V (Class A), and JET 1500V specifications, making it compliant for use in all major PV markets. An evolution of the established H4 connector, the H4 UTX maintains solar industry-standard mating compatibility and features Amphenols low resistance RADSOK contact technology. It is designed to accept wire gauges from 14AWG/2.5mm to 8 AWG/10mm and offers an IP68 rating. A key enhancement over the H4 is the ratcheting gland back nut, which prevents backspin during tightening.
