The Amphenol Industrial UPC (Ultimate Power Connector) series is a robust plastic power connector designed for demanding applications in the hybrid electric vehicle and heavy equipment markets. Leveraging patented RADSOK technology, these connectors offer superior current carrying capacity, reduced T-rise, lower voltage drop, and decreased resistance. The RADSOK twisted grid configuration enables up to 50% more current through the same pin size, enhancing reliability, cycle durability, and lowering mating forces. Available in compact, lightweight 9.1mm and 14.0mm versions, the UPC series supports currents from 200A to 450A and is field installable and repairable, making it an ideal interconnect solution for EV and Hybrid markets, battery packs, and power distribution units.
