This 40-pin FFC/FPC Extender is designed to connect two 40-pin 0.5mm pitch FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) or FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) cables end-to-end, effectively extending their length. It requires the use of Type A cables, where the contacts are on the same side, ensuring pin 1 of one cable connects to pin 40 of the other for proper functionality. The connectors feature ears that can be carefully pried open to plug in the cables with contacts facing upwards, then pushed back to secure a solid connection.
