The Amphenol Socapex HDMI FTV is a ruggedized HDMI connection system designed for harsh environments. It utilizes a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) to securely connect a standard HDMI cordset within a protective metallic plug. This design shields the HDMI cable from shocks, dust, and fluids, while allowing for tool-free assembly in the field. The corresponding receptacle, designed for panel mounting, further enhances system protection against environmental factors. The HDMI FTV supports HDMI 2.0 protocol with a transmission bandwidth of 18 Gbit/s, capable of handling 4K UHD at 60 Hz, making it ideal for applications in C5ISR, battlefield, ground vehicles, navy, and railway sectors.
