The Amphenol USB3F TV (USB-A) is a robust USB connection system designed for harsh environments. It allows the insertion of a standard USB 3.0 cordset into a metallic plug, providing protection against shocks, dust, and fluids. Featuring a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 series III type) with an anti-decoupling device for high vibrations, it ensures secure and reliable connections. This system eliminates hazardous on-field cabling and grounding operations, offering improved EMI protection and ease of use with no tools required. Applications include embedded computers, data acquisition and transmission in harsh environments, railways, battlefield communication systems, and navy systems.
