The HDMI Receptacles are the next-generation interface designed to replace the DVI connector, commonly found in consumer electronics like digital televisions, DVD players, and set-top boxes. Offering backwards compatibility with DVI, these receptacles are smaller and more user-friendly. They support the transmission of uncompressed video and audio data along a single cable at 5Gb/s. Available in right-angle and straight versions, they offer various mounting styles, enhanced EMI shielding, and excellent durability of 10,000 cycles. These receptacles are RoHS compliant and suitable for applications in consumer electronics, LCD displays, digital TVs, set-top boxes, DVD players/recorders, and entertainment PCs.
