The 3M Polarized Boardmount Socket, 8500 Series, offers reliable interconnect solutions with .100" x .100" centerbump polarization. Designed for easy mating with low-profile shrouded headers, these sockets feature a UL 94V-0 rated polyester body and a board retention feature for secure mounting during wave soldering operations. Each socket is marked with its part number for identification. Optional keying plugs are available for enhanced polarization. These sockets are suitable for applications requiring a current rating of 1 A and an operating temperature range of -55C to 105C.
