Amphenol ICC introduces the Gen 5, Minitek Pwr PCIe connector system, specifically the CEM 5.0 PCI Express 12VHPWR auxiliary hybrid connector and cable assembly. This system is engineered to support 600W GPU cards. The 12VHPWR connector is designed with a 3.00mm pitch for its power pins, distinguishing it from legacy PCI Express 2x3 and 2x4 connectors which have a larger 4.20mm pitch. The new CEM-5 connector system is built for power applications, offering a current rating of up to 9.5A per pin (with 12 pins energized) and includes 4 signal pins for data transmission. It is suitable for AI and Cloud, Gaming Consoles, Graphic Interface, Networking, Computing Systems, and Server and Storage applications.
