The 3M MetPak 2-FB Header MP2 Series is a 2 mm pitch, vertical connector designed for high-density interconnect applications. It features a shouldered pin for robust mating and is available in both solder tail and press-fit termination styles. Key advantages include end-to-end stackability, select load capability, and monoblockable construction. The press-fit version offers early mate late break (EMLB) functionality for hot-swapping, with EMLB adjusted by application tooling. This header supports universal tooling and is RoHS compliant. It is suitable for midplane applications with an optional feed-through tail for rear plug-up.
