Product Overview
Amphenol 97 Series Connectors, also known as AC Series Threaded Standard Cylindrical Connectors, are designed for demanding industrial and transportation applications. They offer rugged aluminum shells, durability, and reliability with environmentally acceptable shell plating options. Key features include single key/keyway shell polarization, threaded coupling, various backshells, resilient inserts for moisture resistance and vibration dampening, and machined contacts for corrosion resistance and high current capacity. These connectors are available with solder or crimp contacts and operate within a temperature range of -55C to +125C. They are also offered with RADSOK technology for high amperage capabilities, suitable for applications in mass transportation, automotive, heavy equipment, geophysical industries, and entertainment/lighting. The SAE AS50151 Standard Cylindrical Connectors are also part of this series, featuring a durable, field-proven design with environmental resistance and threaded couplings, suitable for military ground support equipment, ordnance, and shipboard installations.
